The category's playbook is simple: slice one product into Basic, Professional and Enterprise, put the features you actually need behind the higher tier, then sell them back to you. Quote-only pricing, "contact sales" walls, per-module bundles you cannot unbundle.
Capstan's core is never gated. Plans change limits and controls, how many people, SSO, audit exports, they never change what the software does. The pricing page is public, complete, and version-controlled: when a price changes, the change and its date are public, and existing customers get notice, not surprises. Prices are also set by purchasing power and published for every country, so what a team pays in Bengaluru is not what a team pays in New York, and neither is a secret.
The core, free for teams up to 20
This is on every plan, because it is the whole product. If a feature here ever carries a price, that is a mistake to report, not a tier to buy.
People and org
One directory for employees and contractors, across entities and countries, with the org chart and reporting lines kept current. Every other screen reads from it.
Leave and attendance
Leave policies with accruals and carry-over, holiday calendars per location, and attendance that takes two taps rather than a biometric terminal. Leave that understands Berlin and Bengaluru are different places.
Onboarding and exits
Checklists that start from the joining date, documents collected with expiry tracked, and an exit that closes access before it closes the record.
Documents, letters and self-service

Your region
You choose where your data lives at signup. Capstan is deployed one region at a time; India is live, and more regions are opening.
Your export
Export everything, any time, in open formats, even if you owe us money, even on your way out.
Your keys
Compensation, national IDs and bank details carry per-tenant envelope encryption, AES-256-GCM keys wrapped by a region master key. Deletion crypto-erases those keys, so the data is unreadable, not just flagged.
No password to steal
Sign-in is passwordless: a one-time email code, with MFA, SSO/SAML and IP restriction available.
No AI judging your people
Capstan runs no AI evaluation of employees. Analytics can only ever narrow who sees what, never widen it, and small groups are suppressed so no individual is re-identified. Structural, not a slogan.
