Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of peoplecap.in. They set out the basis on which the website is made available, what you can and cannot do with our content, how we handle data trusted to us, and what is and is not within scope of a commercial engagement with PeopleCap.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using peoplecap.in (the website), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
The website is operated by N53 Techworks LLP (LLPIN: ACI-8879), trading as PeopleCap.
These Terms of Use govern your use of this website. Separate written engagement letters govern any commercial engagement with PeopleCap. In the event of conflict between these Terms and an executed engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails for that engagement.
2. Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website in any way that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of N53 Techworks LLP or any third party
- Transmits unsolicited commercial communications
- Introduces viruses or malicious code
- Attempts to probe, scan, or breach the security of the website or to access data that is not yours
Any file you upload, including a resume, must be free of malicious code and must be a document you are entitled to share. We accept resumes only as PDF, DOC, or DOCX files. We may remove uploaded content where we reasonably believe it is being misused.
3. Candidate and client data
How we handle the data trusted to us is central to how this firm operates. The following applies to data shared with PeopleCap through this website or in the course of preliminary discussions.
PeopleCap operates under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA) and processes personal data in line with the Act's principles, including purpose limitation, informed consent, and reasonable security safeguards.
Where we hold a candidate's personal data, we rely on the candidate's consent, or on their voluntary provision of their own profile, for PeopleCap to consider them for relevant mandates. A candidate gives this consent by confirming the consent checkbox when submitting their profile through our website, for example at peoplecap.in/share-profile/, or by sharing their profile with us directly by email. Consent is voluntary, is never assumed from silence, and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to privacy@peoplecap.in. No candidate profile is shared with a client without the candidate's consent for that specific engagement.
No fees for candidates. PeopleCap is paid by the organisations that engage us to hire. We never charge candidates a fee of any kind, whether to be considered for a role, to be placed, or to remain in our talent network, and we never ask a candidate to pay to be introduced to an employer. We recruit without discriminating on any basis prohibited by applicable law. This reflects how recruitment is being regulated in India, including the Maharashtra Private Placement Agencies (Regulation) Act 2025 and the central Private Placement Agency (Regulation) Bill proposed in 2025.
Client briefs and any information shared with PeopleCap during the course of mandate discussions are treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of the engagement to which they relate.
For how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data, and for the rights available to Data Principals under DPDPA, including access, correction, erasure, and withdrawal of consent, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Confidentiality
Information you share with PeopleCap through the contact form, email, or during preliminary engagement discussions, including role briefs, hiring plans, organisational details, and commercial context, is treated as confidential. We do not share such information with third parties or use it for any purpose other than responding to your inquiry and, if you proceed to an engagement, delivering on it.
Mutual confidentiality terms governing live engagements are established in the engagement letter for that engagement.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, design, graphics, and layout, is the property of N53 Techworks LLP or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Our editorial content, including Insights articles, the Thesis page, published research, and frameworks, may be quoted, referenced, and linked to for non-commercial discussion, journalism, and academic purposes, with attribution to PeopleCap (peoplecap.in). We welcome thoughtful engagement with our published thinking.
You may not (a) reproduce substantial portions of our editorial content for commercial purposes, (b) republish our content as your own, (c) use our brand name, logo, or proprietary frameworks in any way that implies endorsement or partnership, or (d) create derivative training data or AI products from our content, in each case without our prior written permission.

6. No professional advice
Content published on this website, including Insights articles, the Thesis page, and general informational materials, is published for informational and educational purposes. Public content does not constitute legal, financial, or regulatory advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice specific to your situation.
Where PeopleCap is engaged under a written engagement letter (talent acquisition, Outpost offshore technology teams, fractional HR or compensation benchmarking), those engagements are governed by their own terms, scoped to your specific situation, and reflect our professional judgment applied to your context.
7. Accuracy of information
We take care to ensure the content on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or currency of the information provided.
We reserve the right to change or remove content at any time without notice.
8. Liability

We are not responsible for the content of any third-party websites linked from peoplecap.in.
9. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, being the courts of our registered jurisdiction.
Disputes arising from commercial engagements with PeopleCap are subject to the jurisdiction and dispute resolution mechanisms agreed in the engagement letter for that engagement, which prevails over this website jurisdiction clause for engagement-related matters.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be available at peoplecap.in/terms-of-use/. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent material change.
11. Sharing your profile
You can share your profile with our talent-acquisition team through the form at peoplecap.in/share-profile/. When you submit the form you provide your details and upload a resume. We email your profile and resume to our talent-acquisition team and add you to our recruitment records so we can consider you for relevant roles. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit.
By accepting the terms on the form, you consent to PeopleCap storing your profile (the details and resume you provide) and using it so our recruitment team can consider you for relevant roles and include you in our talent intelligence. We do not share your details with our clients without your consent. We never charge you a fee for being considered for a role, for being placed, or for being kept in our records.
We also publish free resume guidance at peoplecap.in/resume-builder/. The guidance is general information to help you prepare your own resume. It is not professional advice and we do not guarantee any particular wording, format, length, interview, or employment outcome.
You may withdraw your consent, or ask us to access, correct, or delete your profile, at any time, by writing to privacy@peoplecap.in. How we handle your data, and how to exercise your rights under DPDPA, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
