Roles We Hire

The roles we run mandates for

We hire specialists, not headcount. These are the roles we recruit for across India's financial services and fintech sector, grouped by discipline. Every one of them reads, on paper, like a role you could brief to any recruiter. The reason we exist is that in financial services the paper is the least useful part. Pick a discipline to see what we cover, what the market is paying, and where we have closed.

Four disciplines. One specialist desk.

We do not spread across every function in the market. We go deep in the disciplines where financial services hiring behaves differently from everything else, and where a generalist brief tends to fail.

Technology & Product

Most of our mandates sit here: engineering and product roles inside banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and financial services GCCs. On paper the stack looks like any other company's. Underneath it is the regulated workflow, the reconciliation, the audit trail, the compliance touch points, and that is what we screen for first. A backend engineer who has handled money movement. A Salesforce developer who knows Financial Services Cloud rather than generic CRM. A product manager who can talk about lending or payments without a glossary. The tooling is a floor. Domain is the filter.

Data & Analytics

Data roles in financial services carry a context that generalist data teams do not: portfolio structures, regulatory reporting cadence, and the difference between building analytics for a credit-risk function and building it for a marketing team. We source data scientists and data engineers who have worked inside lending, risk, and payments, rather than strong generalists who would need the domain explained on the job.

Risk, Compliance & Security

These are the roles the regulator cares about, and the ones a generalist recruiter is least equipped to judge. Credit risk, compliance and financial crime, information security, and technology risk each have their own market, their own compensation logic, and their own definition of a credible hire. We run them as separate specialisms, because they are. A named compliance officer is not an interchangeable risk professional, and we do not brief the search as if they were.

Operations & Front Office

The business-side roles where financial services diverges hardest from technology hiring. In KYC and AML operations, the market moves at the pace of remediation programmes and centre-level promotion cycles. In private banking and wealth, the fixed number is only a floor, and a portable, verifiable book is the real currency. Both need a recruiter who understands what actually prices the move.
